The Taste

This Past wknd my daughter, mother and I went to the Taste of Tacoma. The Taste is an annual thing we have every year almost the same time. The wknd before the fourth of July. Music is played, there are local stores that sell their merchandise and resturaunts. Each and everytime I go I have to eat a Philly Cheesesteak (minus the cheese) a Lemonade, and a Strawberry shortcake. I must also take a button picture with whomever im with.

Thje down side to the taste is that there are so many rats there wearing high heels.Its damn near Nipple to Nipple in that place and BITCHES wanna were a freakum dress and 6" platforms. And to the ones who have kids that NEVER bring them along. Your trifflin...Its SAD.I bring my one and only everywhere wit me.Thats js me. watever.

MAC To the Beach

Hey luvlees,

So the other day checking my mail box I ran across an orange envelope the the beautiful letters M.A.C. written at the top.....I opened it up and it read..
YOU AND A FRIEND ARE INVITED TO A PRIVILEGED SNEAK PEEK ....TO THE BEACH..(ahahaha and the crowd goes wild) I almost fell to the floor. I've never had an invite to anything beauty related..The date is set for 5-18-10 Im going to take my mother along with me.Cocktails are included so idk if you have to be a certain age.

I'll be sure to post sum blog pics after the event.

Sephora-Grand Opening Tacoma WA

Oh how I've waited for this day for so long...So many of you may already know but...Sephora just opened up in The Tacoma Mall..Yay!

So it opened a couple of weeks ago..April 9,2010 to be exact.And the first 100 received a gift card up to 100 dollars..I didn't know anyone else who would be just as excited about it as i was so i drug my mother with me.We arrived at about 8:10 am there were a few about 40 people there when we arrived.After a while more and more people started to show up.Some chicks had their kids with them, some lied about having marriage counseling session just so they could attend the Grand opening..Yes it that serious. Not to mention my mother works graveyard so she had just gotten off work @ 6:30. Soon enough some of the Sephora employees came out to greet us and get the party started.

Around 9:45 am the staff came back out and handed the first 100 people a ticket (mom and I were 61 and 62)so when the doors opened we gave our ticket and received a gift card. we both got $10 cards. NOT BAD.I used mine towards UDPP, Hope in a Jar, and something else i can't remember.It was well worth the wait and the back pain.

Now all I gotta do I keep shopping so I could gain some Point..

5.And when in the sun always use a Sun Protective Factor(SPF) I have yet to make this purchase. Sephora carries a few Like Clarins Sunscreen Spray Oil-Free SPF 15 approx. $23.00 or target has Episencial Sunscreen SPF 35 for the body

NC v.s. NW

Are you one of those ppl who wants something so bad you can't wait?


Have you ever bought foundation/concealer online and it totally wasn't your color?


Yay Me too!


It is possible to where both NW and NC foundation colors.


Here are a few facts to ensure you get your correct shade.


Neutral Color-NC meaning you have yellow undertones in you skin i.e. someone who has gold-ish beige or olive skin.-I live in WA and I wear NC in the fall and NW winter, you tend to loose color when its cold out.

Neutral Warm-NW is for those who have pink and/or red undertones.

When concealing it is good to remember that YELLOW is used to cover and hide black, blue or purple blemishes.

How to care for your make up brushes

Things You'll Need
-Towel(s)
-Liquid Baby Soap
-Warm/Hot running water

1.Run your dry brush bristles under the running water.

2.Apply a small amount of soap to the palm of your hand

3. Swirl the bristles in the soap into the palm of your hand, work up a lather.

4.Rinse bristles thoroughly under the running water.

5. Continue to rinse bristles until ZERO color leave the brush.

ALWAYS ALLOW YOUR BRUSHES TO AIR-DRY
